Numbered Days Founded: 2003 Origin: Longview, WA Numbered Days (NDZ) represents the limited number of days that we all have on Earth and making sure that every opportunity is taken to its fullest. While all members contribute to the writing process, most lyrical content is written by lead vocalist Bryan Lewis from deep-rooted personal life experience. NDZ lyrics bring a mix of intensity and emotion through a passionate presentation of serious questions and issues that we all experience in our journey. NDZ musicians are an unusual mix of community members from law enforcement, engineering, private business (HVAC), and general management who have turned to music to make a little sense of the world. Each member brings a different set of musical influences from Dave Matthews, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Tool, 90's grunge, alternative/progressive rock, and even new age hardcore punk. Such diversity links a range of sounds from guitar-heavy pop to a driving, modern rock containing elements in the vain of Tool and Nickelback. By popular demand, NDZ embarked on a 2008 spring tour that spanned 13 states in the Western US. While on the road, NDZ supported their 2007 full-length album release, "Under the Umbilical Tree," that has been listed as having "radio-ready hits and no filler tracks." "Under the Umbilical Tree" was professionally recorded, mixed, and mastered in Portland, OR. The album continues to gain widespread popularity locally and nationally.
