Where to start, I guess the begining of my musical journey was piano lessons from my aunt, I had like 3 of them.....then stopped. Coincidently, about that time a little band named "Nirvana" was introduced to me by my uncle Frank, who also gave me my first guitar (a Seville nylon stringed classical acoustic which is used in much of my songwriting). Needless to say, it's been all downhill from there. I've always known I was going to be in a rock band, even during Middle & Highschool I was in bands playing guitar & yelling into a mic in my parents garage, did I mention my parents are very understanding? Those groups were never anything serious, but I used them as a stepping stone, I knew there was something cooler & more rockin out there. During college I wasn't involved in any bands, but that didn't stop me from playing or writing music. It wasn't until I was done with college, my cousin Sam, who prety much kicks ass, introduced me to Bryan & Greg. I was pretty sure that I needed to be in this band. Our first jam session pretty much secured that thought. We all bring such different styles to the table & I felt from the beginning it was going to rock. My CD collection is simply put, crazy. From Hatebreed to The Crystal Method to Ludacris, you can't go wrong with Luda. I would like to thank my parents for the obvious reason & not dropping me on my head too often. The have been very supportive. I would like to thank my awesomely, beautifuly, supportive Wife Lacey, she has been there since the beginning of this band and has offered her support & help through it all. Thanks to Bryan & Greg, 2 of my best friends, almost like brothers now, and for anyone along the road who has had any influence on my music & thanks to God for giving me this gift & opportunity. Don't even take for granted the most important thing you've been given. Life. Live it up! Much Grass, Chris Send Email to Chris | |
